Chesterfield Hotel & Suites

I had an exceptional stay. I have stayed here a couple times before- a front room in the lily building (awesome) and a room 2nd floor to the right of the courtyard that I just stayed in…room 405! Love it. Not super big but nice- cool bathroom with mirror on the ceiling of the shower, and a ledge in the back of the shower that you could sit on. Would’ve been cool to have someone else in there…to check out the view. The gentleman that checked me in (wish I would’ve written down his name) was super nice and actually walked me to the gate at the entrance of the courtyard where my room was located. You had to enter a code to get in, so that contributed to the safety factor. Hardly anyone hanging in the courtyard and the noise was minimal. Loudest thing seemed to be people walking up and down the stairs…however that was usually at breakfast or going out at night. Great stay- thank you!!

It’s in the heart of South Beach. The beach and restaurants was a short walk away. Shopping was near. Night life was fun, people were friendly. Beds comfortable, hotel is nice and lots to do. Happy hour!

When we arrived we got room 114. This is a few meters from the bar. That was not a big deal because we knew from the past that hotels near the ocean drive are noisy. But our doorlock wasn‘t working. Even when front desk is 24/7, it was not comfortable when they had to open our room eceryday a few times. They tried to fix it but after 3 days the lock still wasn‘t working. People at the frontdesk were very helpfull and we got another room. Room 400 was a suite in the building next to the hotel. It was a very nice room and very silent. Not compareable to room 114. We didn‘t have to pay for this upgrade. They care about customer satisfaction

The hotel is close to lots of places, beaches, ocean drive and bus stop that can take you to downtown Miami. The room we stayed feels secured as you need to enter code at the gate before entering to your room. service at reception is decent and free drinks during happy hour.

Perfect for what I needed. Convenient to where I had meetings.
